...In Children's Lives
Fruit Valley Elementary School is at the heart of our neighborhood and the Foundation focuses a great deal of its energies into the lives of children. It is our belief that in order to effect long term change in Fruit Valley we must give children the tools to succeed.
Our partnership with the School includes:
- Support for an attendance incentive program which helps keep kids in the classroom and rewards the class with the best attendance each month and at the end of the year.
- Financial Support for an expanded field trip program to get kids into the world and exposed to things outside their normal lives.
- Fundraising for special projects and events, such as the installation of new and improved playground equipment.
- Support of PTO and school events both financially and through manpower.
- Long-term goals also include work to improve reading and math grades as well as the development of after school events.
